Study 1:Claremont Graduate University analyzed oxytocin in 2011. Study 3:In 2009 Harvard Business School analyzed wealth and well being. There is possibility that there is a positive correlation between happines and income when basic human needes are not met, people in general overestimate influence of wealth on happiness by almost 100%. Money does not lead to to happiness as people think it will.- Money are not the key to happiness.
Study 4:In 2009 San Francisco State University analyzed how buying experiences leads to greater happiness. The study was about demostrating that experiential purchases, as wellness, good food, theater, cinema and such things results in greater well-being than materiál possessions. Those experiences tend to satisfy higher order needs, specifically the need for social connectivity and vitality, the true feeling of being alive.- Buying experiences, not possessions, leads to greater happiness.
Study 5:Study from University of California Berkeley in 2008 suggests that how people spend their money may be at least as important as how much money they earn. Spacifically, spending more of one’s income on others results in greater happiness. So go ahead, be generous. You will beg lad you did.- Spending money on others increases happiness.
Study 6:University of British Columbia in 2012 relases study conducted at an elementary school, studends who performed kind acts experineced significantly higher increases in peer acceptance. People who are kind to others are more well-liked. This contributes to their own personal popularity as they help other people.- Kindness increases happiness.
Study 7:The University of Pennsylvania studied and analyzed gratitude as the key for happiness. The study shows that one of the greatest contributing factors to overal happiness in life is how much gratitude we show. Another fact outcome from this study that noticeable difference can be experienced with just as little as three expressions each day (I im grateful for…, Thank you for…). Study 8:This one looks pretty obvious, but i still see people doing it wrong every single day. University of California, San Diego analyzed in 2012 how friends affect you and your life, therefore happiness too. This study shows people who were surrounded by happy people were more likely to become happy in the future. So if you want to find more happiness in your life, make sure you surround yourself with joyful people.- Happy friend, happy life.
Study 9:University of Bristol in 2008 shows straight forward study. People’s moods significantly improve after exercising. They are also more productive and equipped to manage stress in their workday.- People who exercise on work days are happier.
Study 10:University of Exeter Medical School in 2013. Evidence suggests volunteering benefits mental health and even, survival. Donating time to causes you believe in not only improves well-being and overall life satisfaction, it is also linked to decreased depression and a lower risk of dying early.- Volunteer in things you believe.
